Yoga Teacher Training 

Students will learn alignment based vinyasa yoga and how to modify poses for various students with the use of props. You’ll also learn to intelligently sequence creative vinyasa flow classes. This online training will poise you both for online teaching and in-person.

I believe the world has shifted, and I’m shifting with it. I am excited by what this new virtual landscape has to offer. An online training now means that people all over the world have access to learn from me and I have access to teach them. How exciting! There’s fewer barriers to people being able to get certified in yoga teacher training as things like travel and cost either go away completely or become much more reasonable. Plus because the world has changed, that means the mediums we are teaching in have also. It’s time for us to adapt to online education. You’ll be better equipped to teach online from having learned online in addition to teaching in person.

This online training is compromised of a comprehensive online training program with a combination of pre-recorded content and live yoga classes and sessions. Pre-recorded videos will be unlocked weekly in an organized way to process and learn this information. Videos are high quality, with detailed instruction of each yoga asana taught in the training. Over 90 poses will be broken down with alignment, benefits, contraindications, modifications and variations. Video instruction of hands-on assists will also be demonstrated and broken down. Sequencing, philosophy, meditation, the subtle body, pranayama, anatomy, the business of yoga, and how to teach online will all be pre-recorded. We will meet live 2 times a week for live classes, deeper dives into various module topics, discussions and Q & As. You’ll be given access to a library of Cathy’s flow classes as well as additional classes made just for the training. Homework, live discussion groups, and classes will keep you highly engaged both with Cathy and your peers in this virtually interactive setting.

All lives are recorded and added to your training course library so you have the flexibility to watch on your own schedule. As long as you watch the recorded lives those hours count toward your training! This program is designed to be flexible and work with your scheduling needs.

Cathy uses a yoga student model so that you can visually see all the alignment points, assists and modifications that she will be teaching you. In this, way there are no distractions. Many students learn very well with this kind of visual video instruction and the ability to replay and learn is priceless. You’ll also get 85 hours of interactive live sessions with Cathy. This unique combination of live and virtual learning will ensure you’re not only retaining information but getting real live teaching and feedback from Cathy.

While Cathy is going to keep you on course for completing weekly assignments by unlocking them each week, you’ll have flexibility of when you watch the videos during the week.

To keep you engaged with your peers, you’ll be assigned into small groups to meet with weekly and a WhatsApp group of all participants to connect more easily.

The world has entered a new. Training virtually will put you a step above others as you’ll understand from experience what makes the online teaching space unique. There will be an added module of how to teach online, from discussing how it’s different than the real life classroom, to technical information such as what kind of equipment do you need and how to best market for the online space.

Even before COVID19 many people couldn’t attend a destination teacher training because of the length of time it takes them away from their responsibilities, such as work and family. Also the cost of a destination teacher training can probibit many from being able to attend. Finally most local trainings have long days that one must complete while also working and having family responsibilities. Online training saves you time and money. Your investment for the training is $2195. 

Payment Plans are available. 

Refunds, less a $500 cancellation fee, are available up to 45 days prior to the start of training. If life circumstances mean you can’t complete the training, you can defer to the next scheduled online YTT with Cathy Madeo Yoga.

Yes, you can break up payments into 2 or 3 depending on when you register. The training must be paid in full by the start of the course. 

As long as you pay in full and complete the 200 hours of training you will receive a 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Approved certificate.
